Inacceptable removing my daughter's profile
Inacceptable that you removed my daughter's profile from our family plan. When I signed up for the family plan, there was no warning that you have to be over 16 to have a dropbox outside US. It is YOUR problem that you have sold me this. You are not delivering what you promised. How redicilous is this.

They are making things so difficult!!!
They are making things so difficult!!!. I was trying to get the simplest feature which is synchronizing files with my remote worker, I suggested her to join dropbox, than they changed my subscription, overcharged her, than when she cancelled because of high costs, they cancelled my account, we both lost tons of valuable files. I am in touch with my lawyer, these files worth huge money. I will sue dropbox for the value of these files!!! WHY THEY MAKE THINGS SO DIFFICULT???

Customer service totally useless
Generally good apps - generally, apart from the catastrophes. But they really don’t care to read your emails and just insult you by repeatedly asking the same questions you’ve already answered many times.

Dropbox has disable my account because I have violated the terms and conditions of usage due to child pornography. I have asked them for proof and why I was not inform prior before my account was disable and the response I got is that they are not obliged to but I have a paid a year subscription and all my documents are in their cloud.

Frustrated customer!
Non-existent customer support.
No one can help.
No complaints procedure.
Billing department works just fine for taking payment though!

I am shocked with all the negative…
I am shocked with all the negative reviews! I have been using Dropbox for years on both Windows and Mac and I believe it is the very best remote storage access available in terms of speed, features and ease of use. I cannot fault it and am a genuine user. It is brilliant. It has just got better and better over the years and I rely on it more than other providers which I find to be much slower to sync. Thank you Dropbox. My guess is that most people only leave a review when things go wrong.

Scam to take your money
One month after paying for a 1 year subscription of Dropbox Plus, I lost all access to my account. When I asked about it I was told my account had been disabled due to including child porn material (which it most definitely did not!).
I tried to ask what led their "analysts" to come to this conclusion but I was never told why and any contact was blocked, so as a paying costumer you have absolutely no defense from such a serious accusation.

So basically Dropbox stole my money, all documents and photos I had on the cloud, and to top it, accused me of a heinous crime without no proof whatsoever.

And besides, the only way I had anything related to child porn is if my account was hacked. Either way, Dropbox is untrustworthy at the very least, and a scam to take your money.

Utter Garbage
Dropbox has become utter garbage. Seems they've 'automated' syncing now, so EVERYTHING uploads and no way to turn it off, which is annoying as snot... which overfills your cloud space...so it keeps prompting me to upgrade when onedrive does the exact same thing---for way less. If I'd wanted all those files backed up to the Dropbox cloud, I would do it myself! Support is nonexistent.... just an automated "community" page of useless prompts.

Dropbox is not the best option!
Dropbox definitely isn't the best option for file sharing anymore. I needed to spend 12€ in order to open files from my client as you can only access files over 2 GB with a subscription...

Dropbox and Apple iCloud not compatible
I subscribed to Dropbox but it was not clear to me in the literature that it is not practical for users of the Apple Ecosystem as no updates and synching can be made from iCloud, which meant duplicating data onto the hard disc or removing it from iCloud, however, the online chat was instant, rare in customer service these days, and the solution equally as prompt.

I was given a refund instantly, no quibbling, I kept the free space and was sent an email inviting me to get in touch if I had any other questions or wanted to subscribe again.

It gave me full confidence that Dropbox is a highly efficient and reliable company and that if my digital requirements changed they would be on top of my list for cloud storage.
